Editorial policy
Our job is to make official information easier to use without turning it into an endorsement or a conclusion the evidence cannot support.
Source hierarchy
Government licensing and program sources come first. Provider websites may support a direct link or current detail, but do not override the official licensing record. Search-demand tools guide page design; they are not factual sources about a center.
No pay-to-rank results
Directory ordering and factual filters are not sold. Advertising, if present, must be labeled and separated from editorial results.
Claims we do not make
We do not call a center safe, best, approved, verified, affordable, available, or recommended. We do not create star ratings, safety scores, or review summaries.
Bylines and review dates
Guides name the directory editorial team, show a review date, and link their primary sources. A review date means the cited sources were checked; it is not a guarantee that no later change occurred.
Corrections
Material directory errors are corrected after checking an official or otherwise authoritative source. The change should preserve the current source date and must not erase necessary compliance context.
Provider participation
A provider may report an error or supply an official source, but cannot buy favorable wording, removal of accurate public records, or a higher position.
Privacy minimization
Although some raw government fields are public, the site intentionally excludes names of directors/administrators, email addresses, mailing addresses, home-provider data, and free-text compliance narratives.
